Alle vier Mitglieder der Band haben eine Affinität zur “grünen Insel”, sei es durch unzählige Aufenthalte, durch Studieren entsprechender Literatur oder aber auch durch einen längeren Arbeitsaufenthalt an der Südostküste auf der “Emerald Island”.
All four members of the band do have an affinity to the "green island", be it by various holidays,
by studying appropriate literature or by a long-term business assignment at the
southeast coast of the "emerald island".

Irland, eine Insel im Nordwesten Europas, das Land der Mythen und Sagen, der Kelten, der Jahrhunderte alten Freiheitskämpfe und ihrer Helden, deren Bewohner viel Charme und Freundlichkeit ausstrahlen, das Land des schwarzen Bieres mit einer feinen “Sahnekrone” oben auf und des “uisge beatha”, das Wassers des Lebens, bei uns hinlänglich bekannt unter dem Wort “Whiskey”. Die viele Facetten umfassende Musik sowie die einzigartige Natur des Landes haben die Band “Triple Distilled” inspiriert, sich dieser Musik und Kultur zu widmen.
Der Name der Band basiert auf der Herstellung des Whiskeys, der in Irland meist dreifach destilliert wird.
In dieser Konstellation spielt Triple Distilled seit Oktober 2017 zusammen. Ursprünglich wurde Triple Distilled als Trio gegründet. Danach gab es einige Musikerwechsel.
Zu dem Repertoire der Band gehören neben den melodiösen Liebesballaden, den Auswanderungs- und Seefahrerliedern, den Songs von Freiheitskämpfen und deren Anführern, den Sehnsuchtsliedern der ausgewanderten Iren nach ihrer Heimat, auch eigene Stücke, die teilweise von den selbst gemachten Erlebnissen in Irland erzählen.
Wir würden uns freuen, Sie in einem unserer Konzerte begrüßen zu dürfen. Bis dahin: “Slainté” oder, in unserem Sprachgebrauch, “Prost”.

Ireland, the island in the northwest of Europe, the land of myths and legends, land of fights for freedom and its heroes, its population that exudes lots of charm and friendliness, the land of the black beer with a "crown of cream" on top and the "uisge beatha", the water of life better known as "Whiskey". The band "Triple Distilled" was inspired by the multifarious music as well as the unique nature of the country.
The name of the band is based upon the making of Whiskey that in Ireland is mostly triple distilled.
The current line-up started in October 2017. Originally Triple Distilled was founded as a trio. Afterwards there have been some changes with the band members.
The repertoire of the band includes besides melodic love ballads, songs of freedom fights and rebels, the emigration and sailor songs, yearningly songs of emigrated Irish people, songs about the travelling people, own songs that are partially based on self-made experiences in Ireland.
